Can’t decide between buying a pricey bar studio membership or a bulk class package to your favorite spin studio? Well fear no more, because the ClassPass app is here to alleviate all of your stressful decision making when it comes to you and your fitness goals. Founded by 31 year old business woman, Payal Kadakia, ClassPass is the newest trend in fitness. With it’s innovative approach to all-inclusive fitness classes, ClassPass appeals to almost anybody. Kickboxing, yoga, Pilates, spin, barre, Crossfit, bootcamps; essentially any class, any day of the week. Read on to learn more about this awesome app, and how to start using it today!

What is it?

“A new kind of fitness membership”, ClassPass is a IOS and Android mobile app that allows users to book up to three fitness classes per studio, per month for a fee of $75-$125 dollars (depending on what city you live in). With hundreds of studios within the ClassPass network, the three class cap is hardly a problem. You’ll always be able to find a studio or class that has your desired exercise that you haven’t visited before, which is one of ClassPass’ main goals: to open your eyes to new fitness formats and experiences!

How to use it?

At the touch of a fingertip, you have the capability to sign up for virtually any fitness class you are interested in. Reserving your spot via ClassPass guarantees you a place in the class. Be careful, however, to be sure you are committed to attending. Canceling a class is free of charge until 12 hours before the class. If you cancel less than 12 hours in advance, you’ll be charged a $15 late fee, which nobody wants.

Where to use it?

With access to the largest network of fitness studios across the country, ClassPass is available to users worldwide. New York, San Francisco, London, Vancouver, Melbourne and dozens more cities are in on the fun. The app even makes it easy to locate studios by providing a map with pins of all the studio locations, which can be searched using different exercise categories.

When to use it?

You can use it any day of the week, any month. Once you sign up, your subscription will be good until the exact day the next month. On that day, unless you cancel your membership, you will be charged for the consecutive month. If you’re sure of your fitness schedule, book your classes as soon as you’re aware (which will keep you committed, too!) However, if you’re a last minute decision maker, you’re able to reserve a spot in any class up to 5 minutes before it starts!ClassPass-Banner-2
