5 Frightfully Festive Halloween Cocktails
Break out the fake blood and crack open the costume box, it’s time to get festive this Halloween… which is why I put together a list of 5 spooky cocktails to serve up this weekend. Whether you’re hosting your own Halloween bash, or are just in the festive spirit, these recipes are perfect for any and all!
Perfect for your day of the dead themed party, a Bloody Maria is a spooky take on this Sunday Brunch classic. Sub Vodka with your favorite tequila, and ¡salud!
Here’s what you’ll need:
3/4 cup tomato juice
1-1.5 shots of tequila
3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
1 teaspoon Tabasco (or your favorite hot sauce)
1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Topping Ideas: Pepper, olives, celery, bacon, shrimp, pepperchinis
Eat, drink, and be scary with this bone-chilling drink. Black as Halloween night, the Blackbeard is a delicious, devilishly sweet cocktail! With a hint of dark beer, and a mix of cream and rum, this drink encompasses a variety of unique flavors that make a delightful creamy and smooth beverage.
Here’s what you’ll need:
1 ounce chocolate stout
1 1/2 ounces creme de cacao
1/2 ounce Fernet Branca
1/2 ounce rum

*For added darkness, the recipe recommends to add one dash of squid ink to the mixture. If that is not up your alley, just use some black food coloring instead!
Impress your party guests with this sophisticated yet fun Halloween-themed cocktail. With just four simple ingridients, this is a super simple recipe that you can prepare individually or throw into a punch bowl for larger gatherings!
The only requirements are:
2 ounces raspberry vodka
2 ounces Chambord rasberry liquor
3 oucnes cranberry juice
1 – 1.5 ounces selzter water
Shake together with ice and enjoy!
Pumpkin Spice Old Fashioned
A seasonal twist on this cocktail staple, this cocktail recipe will definitely hit the spot. Pumpkin spice, in combination with the strong taste of whisky and bitters exemplifies the spirit of fall.
You’ll need the following:
2 ounces of rye whisky
1 ounce of maple syrup
1/2 ounce of Grand Marnier
3-4 teaspoons of pumpkin puree
1 dash of orange bitters
Garnish with a cinnamon stick or orange peel

If you’re hosting a Halloween bash, this spooky sangria recipe is an absolute must have. It is so simple and is virtually impossible to mess up, and guests will love being able to serve themselves! Throw it into a bowl or self serving dispenser, add some creepy floating eyeballs, and you are good to go.
2 bottles Dry red wine
3 cups Sparkling water
3 cups Freshly squeezed orange juice
3 oz Brandy (or Cointreau)
3 tbsp Brown sugar
2 Fresh oranges, thinly sliced
2 Fresh pink grapefruit, thinly sliced
2 Fresh lemons, thinly sliced
2 Fresh limes, thinly sliced
