Vegan + Flourless Chocolate Fudge Brownies
Vegan, flourless, black bean chocolate fudge brownies. That’s right, you heard me correct when I say that these delicious squares of joy are completely dairy free and are made with a base of organic black beans. Derived from an original recipe from Ripe Cuisine, these brownies are absolutely delicious and their chocolatey texture will not disappoint. After feeding these to friends and family and receiving much praise, I can safely say these brownies are carnivore approved.
Here’s what you’ll need:
2 whole cans of black beans
1 tablespoon of pure vanilla extract
2 tablespoons maple syrup
3/4 cup of coconut palm sugar
1/2 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 cup of coconut oil
1 package of dairy free chocolate chips
Start by adding beans, vanilla extract, cocoa powder, maple syrup and palm sugar to the food processor. Pulse until the ingredients are well combined, almost smooth.
Combine the chocolate chips and coconut oil in a heat-safe glass bowl and melt on the stove at medium heat until thoroughly combined and smooth. Add the chocolate mixture to the food processor alongside the bean mixture and pulse until creamy.
Coat a 8 x 8 inch square baking pan with your choice of natural cooking spray (or coat with butter and dust with flour). Bake in the oven for 45-50 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Frost with chocolate icing (if desired) and enjoy!
